Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American musician and popular actress. Her mom raised her in the USA and she was subject to many racial taunts that made her feel like an unwanted person. She began to gain confidence in the ninth grade after she took part in a school audition. She was praised by the judges for her vocal ability. It not only boosted her self-confidence but also changed her career ambition. When she was 22, she received her degree from the Julliard School of New York. At the age of 23 she began her career making her debut at the Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films in You've got Mail. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway production of Spamalot garnering not only an award called the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. The following year, in 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more popular. Alongside being a popular singer, she also released her own solo album as well as an extended version. In addition, she's an activist who is a tireless advocate in the fight for LGBT rights.
